Hope is not antonymous to love
but apathy, the greatest injustice
Peace is represented by the dove
not the arsenals which inflict the greatest malice
What the world needs today is a compassionate revolution
A focus on on empowerment education
and a reversal of mental pollution
An elitist culture wreaks the minds of youth
Widespread poverty is the undeniable proof
Hopelessness spreads across the land like a global pandemic
Teachers inculcating information which is pseudo-academic
Children fall victim to the implantation of knowledge
resulting in a trip to nothing more than a vocational college
They grow to become a tool of captalistic society
like clockwork, you've become a gear worshipping reality
only to find yourself venerating consumerism as your deity
Truth as defined by your own reality
not by the karmic laws of causality
blinds us from seeing whats beyond our generation
taking for granted what you have now, showing little appreciation
This is why we must empower the youth
not by preeching a subjective "truth"
Teaching through methods of constant self-reflection
Enabling themselves to realize their own unique mission
Wisdom is often polarized with knowledge
Religion is for wisdom, as for the latter, go to college
Realizing their synergy is truly imperative
It helps us define what it really means to live
Contemporary intellectuals think excessively through their logic
When solutions can't simply rounded to the nearest black or white
Ethics and morals help becloud the fog that blinds your sight
Theory along is not a true praxis
Practice is a must-do, vital, compulsory
just like your taxes
